I enjoyed my time here. Unexpectedly. I was going to Trader Joe's one day when they first opened and looked over to find Panera holding a special event for the day. They gave us $15 in fun money to order whatever we wanted. They have such great salads! So many to choose from. Typical Panera menu. Fresh breads. I took home a loaf of the cinnamon Swirl bread which was insane. So good alone or with a smather of butter. My son loved it for breakfast. The staff was sweet and so happy to be opening. The place was of course, packed. Had a great lunch on the fly and on them which was very cool. In the new PHR center and loads of parking, at least for now.

The triple berry scone that I got for free as a birthday pastry was delicious. I was able to redeem it on the very last day right before closing and the management was still very nice about it. It was glazed and was packed with berries! I think the pastry could have gone without the extra glaze on top. I used to come in here to study during the semesters. The tables are no longer kept as clean as they used to be, especially the chairs. I love booths but I get really grossed out when they're not cleaned properly and this place does not clean them well. Also, the wifi kicks you out if there is a sudden increase in users! I'll be going to the library across the street instead.

I heard through the grapevine that Panera was serving iced coffee through the soda machine dispenser. No really, straight out of the dispenser. Anyways, I came in to try it, some baked goods, and use their Wi-Fi to get some much needed work done. The you iced coffee was good. I liked the dispenser idea because that allowed me to monitor how much ice I wanted. You can get the coffee in a 20 oz version or 32 oz. I went for the 20 oz version since they offer unlimited refills. The coffee had a moderate richness to it, with a good finish, and no bitterness. I refilled once and that kept me going for several hours as I plucked away on the key board. I tried the cinnamon crunch scone which had good flavor, but it was little dry, especially around the edges. Honestly, it had the consistency of a day old scone. I'm not saying it was, just that it reminded me of that. The cinnamon flavor was good and so was the icing on top. Service was pretty good at the counter. One of the girls seemed grumpy but the other was fine. I liked that the non-grumpy one came over later and asked if I needed anything else.

Panera is very convenient especially since it's only a couple blocks from where I live! Food is good, but definitely overpriced. I got a roasted turkey avocado BLT half sandwich, bowl of mac and cheese (delicious), a bag of potato chips, and a drink, and the total came out to $13 and some cents.. close to $14. I can definitely get a better deal elsewhere, but I frequent this place since it's very close by and convenient to get work done. Wifi is very slow which can be a positive and negative. Positive because it makes you crack down on what you need to do, and negative because you can't load a decent youtube video. Not slow enough that you can't access websites easily though, which is good. Tables are almost always dirty. The employees make sure to pick up dirty plates right away, but don't clean the tables. All the times that I've been here, I had to wipe down the table with a napkin, before I set any of my belongings down. This is something I've noticed at other Panera locations though, not just this one.

Friendly, fast, and healthy! The staff here are great, they are helpful and patient haha. I sometimes come here for lunch, especially in gloomy/rainy days. They're overpriced for what they're selling...you pick 2's are supposed to be a deal but it's not worth it in my opinion.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this Panera yet, especially since I go to Panera pretty much once a week. I love going on a run or to a pilates class and then hitting up Panera after. The food is filling, but there are tons of delicious and healthy choices. I also love the flexibility of their Pick 2 option, where you can get half orders of two entrees as your meal. 9 times out of 10, I end up getting the Mediterranean veggie sandwich. It's a cold sandwich with pesto, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, feta and more between tomato basil bread. So refreshing after a workout, or really anytime. I've also had their new soba noodle broth bowl, which was really light and tasty. Their French onion soup is so savory. The bagels are good. The pastries are good. Pretty much everything I've had is good. I recently had one of their breakfast sandwiches for the first time and loved it! Also, I can't forget about the yummy iced tea selection that they have. My favorite is the acai berry iced tea. If you've never been to this location before, you may be surprised at how busy it can get especially during peak lunch time. It can be very difficult to find a table during busy times, especially considering that the free wifi results in many people working or studying on their laptops. However, no matter how busy it is, the food typically comes out relatively quickly. I will likely continue to frequent this Panera often. Because of my addiction, it's definitely worth it to join their rewards club. It's free, and I feel like I earn special discounts pretty quickly.

Used to really enjoy Panera when they had their Chicken Caesar Sandwich and the price was more reasonable. Now their Pick 2 is almost $9 so expect to spend $12-$15 if you get a drink. Their salad options are also smaller than what they used. Still enjoy the broccoli and cheese soup and their fresh bread. Wish they'd bring back heir Chicken Caesar sandwich!

This particular location is an embarrassment to the Panera brand. Every time I go in the morning during the week it is a disaster. Nothing is ready to be opened. This past weekend on Sunday, it was actually a quite time, but every table was dirty with crumbs, half had plates stacked on them. I watched 5 different groups have to wipe down there own tables. Meanwhile, the staff (which there was a large number of) was busy giggling and talking behind the counter about how much sleep they had gotten. With so many other Panera's in the area, I will choose to either avoid completely, or just go to one that is actually run correctly.

The problem with this Panera is the fact that their floors always seem to be dirty! Especially during high traffic times, the floors and tables both seem to be covered in crumbs and other miscellaneous droppings. Love the iced green tea, orange scone, and classic salad. Also - I never get more than a piece with my soup, but the baguettes are good enough to buy the whole loaf! All of the pastries are good, but definitely high in calories (which they do display on the menu). A great place to stop before heading to work for a cup of coffee!

  • Chang L.

Panera is always good for wifi. I wish Panera would post the calorie content of the dishes because they are a lot higher than you might think. I don't let the green colors, the "organic" feel and the "soup and salad" fool me. With that being said it's a decent place to grab a quick bite and this particular Panera has lots of room to hang out on your computer. Sometimes I just go for a cup of tea and do some work or browse online. When I order food I typically get their pressed panini sandwiches and they are pretty good. If I can get food somewhere else but if I'm in a hurry or don't want to go far I will come here. RB needs a new hang out spot.

Used to looooove this place, used to have amazing quality customer service and quality food. The past 3 times I ordered they have fucked up my order and while the restaurant was not busy the cashier made me felt rushed and flustered and couldn't even recommend a vegetarian option for me. After Brandy, and Weslee stopped working and new hires came the quality has definitely declined. Used to be my favorite place but consistent meat in food or getting charged for ingredients they forgot makes me incredibly unhappy! What happened panera 4s?! You used to be dope!!! Now the customer service is awful and I feel uncomfortable there... So disappointed. Hope staff training gets better.

It's just Panera bread, another mediocre American chain. But this one is a cut above the others in SoCal that I've been to. Service is really good when I go here and soup and sandwiches are just fine.

  • Rich P.

The food here is tasteless and bland. I think the thing that keeps people coming back is that it has a French bistro "feel", the portions are small, and the food is overpriced so customers may be fooled into thinking its fancy food. $5 for a microwaved egg circle on a tiny bagel flat.

  • Lauren B.

I LOVE this panera! Out of all the Paneras I've been too this one is my TOP PICK. Food is always hot. Lines are reasonable. Service is good. Food comes out hot in 5-10 minutes after ordered. Huge seating selection, clean tables, awesome staff, I'm a fan. I WILL be back. This is MY FAVORITE PANERA!!!

    (5)
  • David L.

It a corporate panera, nothing special to it. They do all that a panera should do. Decent food, nice service, good ambiance, and clean dining area. The wifi is slow as expected so don't expect to be loading 720p youtube videos here, but does the job on basic google searches. There is a lot of seating but be forewarned that there is a lunch rush because this location is in the heart of the business district in 4s ranch. Also there is a slight busy peak when high school ends at del norte high.

Ordered a jalapeno and cheese bagel. I hate jalapenos. Loved their bagel though. Their mocha was very strong and needed sugar, but it fixed it right up. They forgot our strawberry milkshake though, but when we told them they brought back two :) Their pumpkin muffins were yummy too! I hate how the cream cheese is so expensive though, it's so delicious.

I live fairly close to this location and I've visited a handful of times.I always leave disappointed but summon the energy to come back after each visit in hopes that they were just having an "off" day. Unfortunately, I have recently established that I will not be returning nor will I recommend this place and here's why: I'm a HUGE soup and sandwich fan. I've tried different items from their menu, the last I recall is their Tomato & Mozzarella On Ciabatta, which was "mehh." Nothing spectacular about the sandwich and it didn't taste as if the ingredients were fresh. My husband ordered the Italian Combo On Ciabatta that was so poorly made, it had to be eaten with utensils. I ordered the Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice soup and I couldn't handle the amount of grease in it! Unfortunately, my favorite part of my meals have been their sides! Whether its a soft bread roll or a bag of chips, nothing was more satisfying to me at the time. To be honest, there are plenty more options for bread, soup, salads, and sandwiches nearby. I wouldn't waste your time or money here.

  • Lori H.

I like their soups, salads and sandwiches. However if you order a bagel, can't the staff take a minute and put the spread on the bagel? Not impressed with their style of customer service. If I wanted to do it myself, in the restaurant it would be different! I would buy the bagels, spread and do it at home. All other bagel shops in the area, toast it, spread applied, cut in half and wrap it. Just want to say, bagel shops will be getting my business.

Gross! The floors, the tables, the chairs and let's not even get to the bathrooms. There is no excuse for this not when I spend 10$ for a grilled cheese.

Consistently good food quality with very fresh ingredients. Fuji apple chicken salad is really good with plenty of variety in every bite, no skimping here. This place gets busy with the laptop crowd around lunch making it difficult to find a table sometimes but other than that it's a very nice location.

I also wanted add couple of more lines based on what we have been experiencing in the past few months: 1) The people making the sandwich, salad or panini are not trained at all. They make so many mistakes in the sandwich. There was one time, we saw a girl making all sorts of mistakes and dropping things in the kitchen and the old lady (i believe asst mgr??) told her that just keep a smile everyone understands that you are new and won't be upset with your mistakes... 2) We continue to get messed up orders (missed ingredients, wrong breads etc)...the people who make the mistake don't bother about it at all...they simply toss the food in the trash and make another one which may also be wrong...

So I used the new online ordering system, and my food was hot and ready for me in less than ten minutes (I live close to this location) The only issue I have with this method is that all you need to do is walk in and take your bag off the shelf. Fast and simple? Yes. But what if someone else took my bag? I didn't need to show any ID or anything. It's a new system, so I'm sure they'll work out the kinks with time. As for the food, my sandwich was DELICIOUS! I got a half roasted turkey sandwich with a half pasta side and potato chips. I have no complaints about the sandwich, but my pasta was a bit undercooked. Like rock hard. I picked out a few pieces that were edible, but had to throw out the rest. Other than that, no complaints :)

Now this is a nice service. You wouldn't expect this from most. Sandwiches are alway great & i like their Fuji Apple Salad. I asked her about buying the dressing to take home & she remembered. "Hi Dave. I thought you would like to know, since we spoke last about it, that they sell Fuji Apple dressing at Vons. I have not seen it, but I was told you can get it there. Marta / Panera Bread 4S Ranch Let me know next time you're in town, would love to cater your event. Thanks!"

I come here almost 3-5 times a week. Everyone who works here is great and really attentive. Big kudos to the Ryan the store manager! Always in such a good mood and really cares about all the customers who walk through the door. Food is great and if anything is ever wrong they never hesitate to fix it.

Tasty bread, modest portions, relatively pricey prices. All in all, Panera is a solid stop on the sandwich line, except that this location's sandwich production line has the dubious distinction of swapping order instructions, or entire orders themselves. I am afraid that too many times for four stars, have I ordered take out and received incorrect items. The bread is fresh and tasty. Never too salty, not chewy, nearly always right on. But what they invest in their bakery, they lack in their deli. The meats are never remarkable (unless they're incorrect), the cheeses never memorable, and the produce perfunctory. I never leave completely sated, content, or impressed. I only leave thinking, "Ehh, I wish it was better." That said, I still return, hoping that their duplicitous photographs someday are duplicated on the plate in front of me.

I love Panera! I really enjoy coming here for breakfast or lunch. The sausage egg & cheese on french toast bagel is the best breakfast sandwich. Yes, they have a french toast bagel! :) Along with a unique variety of other bagels I have not seen anywhere else. Italian combo, bacon turkey bravo, asian sesame salad, & the big kid grilled cheese are my favorites for lunch. I usually like to order "U Pick-2" and get the mac & cheese or the sonoma chicken stew with a sandwich. Don't let them forget your jack chedder biscuit that comes with the chicken stew! It's the best part. Unfortunately, the sonoma chicken stew can be hit or miss because 50% of the time the stew can be too watery as they have to regulate the temperture & add water throughout the day. So the food here is great. I like the atmosphere & they keep it pretty clean. I like using my Panera rewards card as there's often a free smoothie, bakery item...etc. :D The biggest complaint I have about this Panera is that every time I've ordered large orders for my work, (5-15 ppl) I'm uneasy about the full order coming out correctly so I have to double check myself. They often gave me the wrong items or forget something. However, a couple of the supervisors/managers have been really nice & understanding as I have explained that this has happened on several occassions & they have taken it upon themselves to triple check for me.

Horrible experience, wasted food! It was 3:30 and the afternoon, ordered a Panini and blueberry scone. got a table sat down. I ate about half the blueberry scone and the Rest of the food came pretty quick I took one bite it was hot so I went to the bathroom wash my hands. when I came back all my food was gone I wasn't gone that long taking a piss, damn. plus who the hell would throw away the whole sandwich a bag chips and half a scone. Unlike the last reviewer they cleared the table too fast. I don't know if it was the manager or assistant manager. he was talking to me like I was trying to rip them off. The girl working there was saying that she just threw it away so they would make me another one but will all attitude. when he brought me the panini I asked about my half of scone and he mumbled something about you ate it all. I remember thinking what an asshole! where the hell did I come here. He ended up bringing me a scone, he said normally when there's a napkin on the plate that means people are done. that didn't make sense to me because they brought me the food with a napkin on the plate. just how it was given to me they took it and threw it away, seriously!!!! It was just a bad experience. I won't be back here because I can't leave for a couple minutes to piss without someone throwing all my uneaten food out. i'm still blown away that they would throwaway A whole sandwich and a untouched bag a chips REALLY!!! at least wait a couple minutes you just gave me the food. F' me

I usually come to get breakfast for work. I get the bagels which is decently priced, less than 20 dollars for 13 bagels and two tube of cream cheese! Pros: - pumpkin pie bagel - cinnamon crunch is my favorite - honey walnut cream cheese Cons: - staff not as friendly here. Maybe because it's way too early? Overall: - 3 stars. Decently priced just need better service

I have been to this PB several times in the past and this visit I was craving their Mac N Cheese... YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM The small M&C comes with a side and I chose the chips ($5). Super creamy and delicious!!! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. This is the default place to eat in this shopping center. Employees are friendly and the establishment is well kept. The only downfall here is that there are crazy drivers. You seriously need to watch the traffic as there are speeders and people who don't pay mind to their surroundings.

Panera Bread usually gets my standard of 3 stars but this location has 1 thing so worthy that boosts it up to 4 stars: no limit on their free wifi!!! (my local Panera branch limits their free wifi to 30 min during peak hours) I'm conflicted whether this location is a good place to study or not: If you are someone who needs to study in mostly silence (like me for intense reading), this is definitely a bad place to study. This Panera is super busy with lots of families (lots of kiddos running around) so it does get quite noisy. Consistent wifi means I can put on Pandora (classical music playlist) & drown out most of the noise...but some of it still escapes. Pros for studying environment: - lots of tables & outlets! - you won't starve..plenty of food offerings (but i think Panera food is meh) - super friendly staff & easy parking - Sign up for their Panera e-club for freebies! (like pastries or coffee) The only foodstuff I'm willing to get at Panera: Chai tea latte, Creamy tomato soup, & their strawberry&cream scone.

I'm giving this one star because i cannot give less than that. We went and ordered a vegetarian salad - it came with bacon in it. We strictly avoid bacon and all pork meat. The manager did not even offer an apology, forget about reimbursement. I don't think i'm ever entering a panera again. This has been my worst encounter ever in any place. Worst. I'm extremely disappointed.

  • Dean M.

I really like Panera but I may stop coming to this location. Once again they had no coffee at 7:50am. One pot was brewed at 5:50 and it was empty. Two other pots were missing. I had to wait for 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee. If this was the first time this happened, I'd probably ignore it. However, this has happened the last 3 times I've been to this location. Poor management. I'll go elsewhere.

I love Panera! They have amazing soups, salads and sandwiches! I come to study a lot and they are gracious about letting me take my time working on projects. Only negative is the tables are Frequently in need of being cleared of dirty dishes. It seems that they are understaffed as far as cleaning the tables off goes.

Sadly I will have to update my previous review after a terrible experience. I will not likely ever enter a Panera again after this; hence the one star. My family was visiting me from Canada and the first place I took them after picking them up from the airport was Panera. I told them this would be a great place for lunch. I am a vegetarian, as is my mother, and my sister and her daughter both have health issues that restrict their diets. We all ordered the Strawberry Poppy seed salad and asked for all four salads to be made without chicken. Our salads arrived separately (my mother's and mine first). When my sister's and her daughter's salads arrived, they had chicken on them. She immediately told the staff that these were not what she ordered. They took the salads back and told her they would make them new ones. That is NOT what happened. They took the salads, picked out the chicken, tossed it up and returned them. About half way through, both my sister and her daughter found pieces of chicken throughout. Then when my mother was almost done her salad, she found a piece of chicken in the bottom. I have been a vegetarian for 30 years, so I can tell you that if I had found chicken in mine, I would not have been as forgiving. In fact, I check my salads very carefully after experiencing this exact practice a couple years ago at this very same location. Luckily I search dishes to ensure they don't have animal products in them. I will also add that during this recent visit to Panera with my family, we were given regular baguettes, when we requested whole grain. I told them this and they returned with very hard stale pieces of whole grain baguettes, which were not even edible. One other thing; my sister's and her daughter's salads actually had no blueberries in them at all. Another downfall of this and the other Paneras is the inconsistency of the black bean soup; sometimes it's almost cold, other times there is only a few beans in it. I also noted that they discontinued one of the few good sandwich; the Mediterranean Veggie, and replaced it with yet another chicken sandwich. It says "Food you can trust" on their website. Seriously? They may want to reconsider that. I will not likely step foot in a Panera again after that experience, since I certainly cannot "TRUST" the food or service I would be receiving.

Been here many times but for some odd reason they forgot about my order twice on my last 2 trips here. Waited for about 20 mins to get my sons Mac and cheese. I understand that this place can get really busy. So after waiting for almost 20 mins I asked whats up with my order? The person who helped me was nice to say sorry and thats fine with me. So happen the manager that day was walking by and I made a comment bout what happened. He answered " things happened". Wow from a manager?! What a fkn schmuck! He is a dirtbag manager anyways. The other manager, the girl with short hair is waaaaay better than that dirtbag.

I stopped by the other day to grab a couple sandwiches, before heading over to the sister-in-law's to babysit the kids. The turkey and roast beef sandwiches were fine, nothing to write home about. The Mac n Cheese was amazeballs, as expected. But, the mediocre 2-stars are for service. With so many staffers visibly on hand, why was there only one person taking orders? With someone lingering by, he waited a good 7-10 minutes of me standing there before jumping on the second register. Not impressed, especially with so many nearby food options.

I got at least once a month to this Panera just because sometimes either I need to by real bread and not plastified one from Vons, for example, or I miss the broccoli cheddar soup and the Cuban sandwich. Other than that, this Panera Bread is kind of dirty, the tables are always a mess, they take forever to clean. Orders come late and confused. And the worst thing is those WiFi-obsessed customers that do not drink anything (just a tea or coffee and refilling it non stop and do not allow real customers who go there to eat to occupy the always busy tables. One day I asked one of the cashiers if I could speak to the manager, as that was getting too much. A long queue of people and tables busy with only one consumer + laptop plus a drink building mold. The girl said that they cannot do that to customers, as they are there...consuming. What a rip off, they really should do something about it. This is the worst Panera in that matter. Other than that, is passable food, that I enjoy from time to time (when they don't bring the soup cold, as they take their time).

  • Charley D.

I love bringing my son here for Mac and cheese and one on one time. Other than the fact that he loves the mac and cheese, this place is pretty normal. I like the fact that you can find a Panera in every affluent area of the US and you know what you can expect. Consistency is key when feeding kids. As far as the parents fare goes, I wish they would mix up the menu and offer some more robust selections. My kid likes to come here for dinner, and my wife and I always end up getting a Panini or salad/soup that's far too small to feed an adult (I'm an eater). We'll likely not stop coming to Panera any time soon since their mac and cheese is crack for kids. I would love it though, if their menu improved for us grown ups....

  • Manoj Y.

Pros: 1. Good location 2. Service was quick at peak hour 3. Food was good, typical of Panera Cons: 1. The parking lot is always full and I had to park in Ralph's parking lot 2. Their menu is complicated. Fire the moron who designed it. This is not only me but there is an article on how Panera can learn a thing or two from Chipotle about simplicity of menu ( fool.com/investing/gener… ). I spent almost 5 minutes figuring out what means what on their menu, a pretty bad sign I should say. 3. They don't stock salt. You kidding me? 4. They offer a side order of apple. What! really? Scientific study shows that a fruit should be consumed on empty stomach and not along with a meal.

I really like this place, great service, great food and a nice atmosphere. Great soup and sandwich combos!! Broccoli Cheddar mmmmmmmmmm! Also, you can't beat their My Panera rewards program, the fact they list the calorie content on the menu and free Wi Fi. Plus now when you log in, they give you tips on how to be considerate at Panera (don't hog a table or take up a four op when it's just you) I love that Panera is schooling people on how to be polite, that just gave them an extra star in my book.

EVERY TIME I call in an order, it's never ready on time. They don't even start to make it until I walk in and pay. They don't seen to understand the point of call-ahead ordering. Good food but not worth the frustration.

I visited Panera - 4S Ranch. This is my regular site for family weekend breakfast. If you get there early, there is no problem. If you are there after 8 or 9am chances are the everything bagel is gone. It happened many times. I dónt know how a place that opened all day long ran out of things by 9AM. Yesterday, I went there, bought a dozen bagels, they only have 2 left so I asked that they made some more. After many discussions, they finally let me buy the dozens and said that they won't be available until the afternoon. The afternoon came and went, I was busy with other things and could not get there. I came there at 7:30Am today. They said that they threw away my bagels. They said anything over 24 hours. My bagels were not over 24 hours. So I paid for a dozen of bagels and now dónt have the bagels.

There isn't anything bad I can say about this location.. I like Panera Bread.. this location is a pretty standard one.. I mean I've been to many Panera Breads.. so this one isn't any different.. What I am disappointed in is their chicken noodle soup.. they changed it up! The call it "all-natural.." but I really liked their old version.. For me.. this new soup is saltier.. and the broth is thinner.. and I just wasn't happy.. I hope they still serve that cream of chicken and wild rice.. because that's what I'll be getting from now on.. Disappointing..

I love this location only because it's not as busy as the one closer to where I live... but it does get busy especially during the lunch hour! I always get the you pick 2 - which includes 1/2 a sandwich, and a side soup (i think you can get a salad if you don't want soup - but i always get soup so I'm not too sure?). it also comes with bread, an apple, or chips too... enough to fill you up, for a reasonable price! the chicken noodle soup is good, basic but filling and creamy a bit (not so watered down), and the clam chowder is creamy too - yum yum yum! I love their bagel options (savory and sweet) but have yet to try one. if you sign up for the 'my panera' card and register it online, you get random goodies throughout the year (free smoothies, and sometimes for special occassions free pastries!) which is always a nice plus, especially if you have a sweet tooth like i do!

Stopped here for a quick lunch with the family. Food was good and came out really fast considering it was the middle of lunch rush. My only complaint is once we realized we ordered the wrong sandwich, they would not let us change it. The order hadn't even gone to the kitchen. I guess if I want it my way I should have gone to Burger King. This is a huge problem for me considering we originally wanted a sandwich with NO meat but ended up having to keep the ham sandwich. Good thing I'm not vegetarian. For this experience alone, minus 3 stars. That is unacceptable, even if there was a long line. Customer is always right. I will not be coming back to this location in 4S Ranch. As for the food, the Ham Sandwich was actually really tasty. 4 stars for that however what if I had been vegetarian? A simple fix would have been to take the 3 minutes, get a manager to over-ride the register entry and change my order to the Tomato & Mozzarella Sandwich. Then Panera Bread would have gotten a solid 4 stars. Oh well. I guess there are other places to spend my money.

I'm not usually into the bakeries/cafe style restaurants but the customer service here keeps me coming back. Keeps me coming back 4-5times a week, actually. Nahla, Brandy and Hala are great. They're absolutely experts at customer service and have been the primary reason I choose to come here so often. I've never had a bad experience here, which should mean a lot considering how many times I'm here. I almost always order the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with an apple on the side, which Brandy says I'm addicted to... Guilty. Not sure what to order? Ask for a recommendation. Everything that's ever been recommended to me has been great. The only thing I can complain about is the quality of the apples. Sometimes I've gotten apples that have been of questionable quality, but I usually come in 30 mins prior to closing so I'm sure they only have leftover apples by that time. Bottom line: Great sandwiches, great soups, great bread + pastries, the best customer service.

A review of this Panera in comparison to its Panera peers across the country. I have a long, positive relationship with Panera that goes way-back to their St Louis Bread days when they were half-a-block from my office. 10 meals a week at that location was not uncommon. Certain standards and expectations were set during that time. The Panera on Craftsman is slacking. Over the last two months my schedule at this Panera has been consistent and included no fewer than 25 meals. I'm still asked for my Panera Card every morning as if I've never heard of such an alien notion. Do you like a sweet bagel in the morning? Cinnamon crunch? Expect an onion or garlic after taste.

I like most Paneras, but this one is a little lacking. If you ever ask for something or some help, the workers always try to pawn you off on someone else, instead of helping you directly. I think I've had better customer service at Chick Fil A where any worker would probably do a cartwheel if I asked. Most of the food is okay, but some of the sandwich fillings come pre-made for central location since they can't modify them. So I stick with simple sandwiches, soups and breads. I agree with another reviewer that they don't clear the tables quick enough. The main room always looks dirty because even if it isn't crowded, there are a bunch of tables with dishes and others that are just unwiped. They took away the garbage cans a while ago, so patrons can't even clear their own tables. Lastly, if you go in the evenings the lady that is usually taking orders always manages to get at least one thing wrong with the order. She isn't new, she has been there a long time.

Bread and baked goods are great here. the only downside is if your not early you miss all the good stuff. Makes sure to stop in before 11am. Try the mini Chocolate chip cookies. Yes they have free internet

Panera Bread! Ah! This was my first time visiting the chain. I had always seen the name but there aren't any located in my 'neck of the words' to have given me the opportunity to try sooner. But here I found myself today, in the RB / 4S Ranch area, around 10:45 am. Odd time to eat in the shopping center since most places are lunch shops. But Panera bread to the rescue! They are open really early to late - what was it 6am - 9pm? - offering breakfast items till 10:30 (boo I missed breakfast) and then soups, sandwiches and salads. After finding out I could not get the bacon and egg sandwich, I settled on the oh-so-popular 1/2 sandwich and soup. I went with their new tortilla soup and chipotle chicken sandwich. The cashier said "OooOoo....good combination," no joke, so I felt pretty professional in my ordering abilities. You also get a side choice of baguette, chips, or an apple. I thought bread on top of a bread sandwich was a bit much, and apple is just too lame, so chips it was. But then I had buyers remorse after seeing the baguette and exchanged before opening the chips. Good choice! The bread was soooo fresh and delicious...perfect for dipping in the soup. As yes, good combination indeed! The soup was fantastic for a casual dining chain, the sandwich was a panini style pressed sandwich and the baguette was great as I said before. Perfect amount of food for a quick lunch...set me back all but $8 (the chipotle is a 'specialty sandwich' and makes the combo a bit more). Nice vibe inside as well. As was said, they offer free wi-fi to its guests. Given the homeliness of it, would make a delightful place to chill, order some good food, and search the web.

I really do like their food. The staff seem to always have a handle on the crowds which is good. The cookies are scrumdiddlyumptious!!

I really like this Panera vs any other. The location is nice and it's not super busy [except for lunch time] But I come here when I need school work done and I love it because it's pretty quiet. I've been to a lot of paneras where I had to leave because I couldn't concentrate due to the noise. My favorite thing to order is the Broccoli Cheese Soup in a Bread Bowl!! They have the best soup!! You wont be disappointed!

I really like Panera in general. I would give them a 5 start except they make so many errors with orders here. After 3 attempts at 'saving time', only to find the wrong stuff in my bag, I dont even call in my order anymore. On the positive, the manager is super nice and tries to accommodate and fix things. In short, good food, check you bags before you leave if you get take out.

Love to come here for a fresh loaf of bread. You can buy it whole or ask them to slice it. Usually I can't resist eating a whole loaf of french baguette bread in one sitting. I find their sandwhichs a bit on the greasy side....they go light on their sauces/cheeses and it'll be perfect!

Be forewarned! The apple-cider apple, chicken salad sucks! Ugh! I enjoyed the pear salad at the Studio Diner much more. I should've seen it coming when mi kids told me my salad smelled funny. Wha?! I paid no attention to the rambunctious one. What 'da hell! Apple chips abound on the top with only 1 piece of the fresh apple in the entire salad! I did not like the dressing. what was it? Straight up apple cider? 'da F was that? Is that cider vinegar that mi boy was referring to? I shalt not take such a salad from this place again. What's the big deal about this place? It's over priced sandwich fare hardly warrants whatever fanfare it receives. It's a bread and bagel place. As far as bagels are concerned, I go to Einstein's. For bread, the Ralphs across the parking lot will suffice. Why 'da hell pay more? Shoot! if you're going here for the free wireless, just get yourself some soup or cocoa and sit down with your little Macintosh to do your thing. Oh, but why would you do that if you live in the surrounding neighborhood. You'd have much better at home. Go home kid!

I work in the area and for some reason, the office insists on ordering from Panera like ALL the time. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty good, always super fresh and light enough to not leave you with a food coma once you're back at work. While it feels "healthy", I know better and have checked the nutritional information online. Yikes. Ignorance is bliss, friends. For the love of god, why can't this place double check their to-go orders?! They ALWAYS mess up our order, whether we order for 5 or 15. The manager is always so nice, but c'mon, CHECK the order...especially when you know us and we bring in a good amount of business. We usually end up pulling everything out and doing an on the spot check and they look at us like they're offended, but alas, something is always missing or wrong.

This place was filthy when we came in .... At least 10 tables with dirty dishes. Doesn't seem to be a manager .... Just a bunch of workers of even rank, with just one designated to keep dining room clean. She worked hard but needed help. It should be much more of a priority when it gets like it was tonight. All the workers are nice. Just no leadership.

I love Panera but REALLY do not like this location. The line is always out the door, no matter what time of day it is. And somehow my order always is incorrect. I understand mistakes happen when there is an influx of people, but if the store is always like that, they should staff it accordingly.

I work in the area and occasionally will come to pick up a half sandwhich/half salad lunch combo. NEVER AGAIN!! On Wednesday 12/14/11, I had called in my order ahead of time and when I arrived they had made the wrong sandwhich so they were making a new one "on the fly." Well, someone cut corners because within a few hours of eating that half sandwhich (I did not eat the salad) I was puking my brains out every 15-20minutes. The vomiting continued for over 16 hours and oh, I should mention I was almost 7 months pregnant as well so this was a very dangerous situation. I couldn't keep anything down, including liquids. I promptly went to my Dr and had to be given several liters of IV fluids due to extreme dehydration from vomitting. My Dr suggested I call Panera to: 1. Find out if anyone else had gotten ill 2. To inform them of my illness I called as soon as possible to speak to a manager and let them know what had happened. I explained that the sandwhich was made "on the fly" due to their error of messing up the phone-in order. The person I spoke to was just a shift manager and had this "I can't be bothered" attitude. She took my information and ASSURED me the general manager would call me back right away. Well guess what? It's been almost a month and no one has ever even bothered to contact me. That's just poor customer service and leaving yourself open to liability. It was a close call for me being pregnant and getting that ill. I am so digusted with how they handled the situation. I will never eat at this Panera or any other Panera again. They should have taken my complaint seriously and investigated into the matter. Panera obviously doesn't care if their customers get sick from their food. Eat at your own risk. I want to make sure that NO ONE EVER HAS TO GO THROUGH WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!

We love Panera Bread. There are plenty of things on the menu we like and we always feel like we've had something healthy, unlike a fast-food joint. I usually get the Pick 2 and rotate between various sandwiches and soups. The chicken ceasar sandwich and chicken noodle soup are my favorites. On the negative side, it's usually hard to find a seat and the tables are always dirty. I wish they would let customers take their plates to the trash themselves and then have someone wiping down the tables. The servers eventually take the dishes away, but the tables go uncleaned for a long time. The also put the napkins under the soup bowl. By the time the plate is delivered, they've managed to spill the soup on the napkin, so I always have a soggy napkin and have to go get a new one. For a place with this good of food, they still have a lot of improvement to do.

I've eaten lunch here several times now. Great, fast service and the food is always good. I usually get something simple, like a half ham and swiss sandwich with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup.

Decent. Good combination of soups, sandwiches, and breads. Can be crowded with laptop surfers due to the free wi-fi. Not the cheapest soup and sandwich option but decent overall. Parking can suck over here now and then.

Another place a hop, skip, and a jump from my place. Yeah it's a chain establishment but who cares? Located in the 4S Ranch Town Commons Center it's a convenient place to go. I enjoy coming here on Sunday Mornings with daughter to get something quick for breakfast. Clean place, friendly staff. It's a lot larger than what I was expecting. My breakfast fave here is the breakfast sandwich with egg/bacon on this particular type of roll. It escapes me for the moment, but when I remember it, i'll update this rvw. There's free Wifi here which is always a plus.

Although I prefer the paninis better at Corner Bakery Cafe, Panera's is closeby to home and is similar enough that I enjoy it. Panera's offers free wi-fi and it is always clean and quiet. I always order the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup meal - and for a little extra charge you can get the specialty salad options (such as the Chinese chicken salad which I highly recommend). Also, for 99 cents with any meal you can add a cookie to your meal - the chocolate duet is my favorite!! Also, their patio furniture is really good quality - the seats look like they come from Pottery Barn! and if you sit outside, you have a view of the fountain which is architecturally appeasing.

It's pretty crowded at lunch time. And no free samples to tie me over while I waited. It was only a short wait though. I got the orchard harvest and the turkey artichoke panini half and half combo. The food came pretty quickly, and found a booth. -0.5 for empty jamba juice cup that was sitting in the corner, dangerously close to my butt. They always remember (technically they punch it into their computers that way) when I request the salad dressing on the side. +1. The chips with the meal is kettle chips which means it's nice and thick and crunchy. Mmm. Overally it's a little pricey for a sandwich (about $7-9), but I like the seating and free wifi, and quick service.

This Panera Bread is great. The staff is WONDERFUL. I had stopped to speak with a manager or assistant manager (I don't recall which...) and we chatted about the food, and this and that. I said how much I LOVE their tomato basil bread and when we left she was slicing up the bread and told us that it was the last loaf and she wanted us to enjoy it. I thought that was SO thoughtful. They'll keep me coming back!

This place is like just other Panera Breads... good sandwich, friendly staff, awesome French Onion soup. I love the ambiance of his particular location because it's very laid-back. If you just wanna relax and enjoy your Sunday brunch, with friends or family, this is the right spot.

I went there on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm with my two children ages 4 and 2. The minute I walked in, I felt like I was unwelcomed. There was a server/cashier(later I found out his name was Dxxxx who was also a manager) who saw us walking in but looked away. We were not greeted at all. I felt uneasy but since my kids were hungry, I went ahead and ordered. After finishing his Mac and cheese, my son wanted more food so I was waiting in line to order more. There were two cashiers and one of them was Dxxxx, when it was my turn to order, Dxxxx went ahead and helped a customer who just walked in. Things like this could happen all the time and people make mistakes but I felt like I was being discriminated because I was with my two kids and/or because of my skin color. This was my first time going to this particular Panera restaurant and I've never had such an experience at any other Paneras.

Used to come here during lunch. I remember eating soup with sourdough bread. JUST SOUP and a BREAD, and the bill came out as if I ate dinner! Yea, pretty pricey, and customer service is horrible. Another reason why I stopped going to this place is because some employees will look at you like "what is he doing here" ... hmm racist much? W/e...

My daughter and I have had dinner here 3-4 times over the past week, seriously. We have been frequenting another business close to this restaurant and are now addicted to the food. My daughter loves the kids macaroni and cheese and the large piece of baguette that comes with it. I have been enjoying the chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl .. the bread here is delicious and although i would love to blame my weight gain on the copious amount of bread I have been consuming at Panera, I cannot. Although, I may be able to blame the absolutely delicious desserts .. The staff, who we have come to know very well, are extremely friendly and accommodating. One night we arrived 25 minutes prior to closing, which is 9pm, and they happened to be out of the macaroni and cheese. After dinner my daughter ordered a cinnamon roll and was given the large pastery for free due to the inconvenience. Obviously we have continued to return and likey will keep this restaurant as our new love. Oh, by the way, they have complimentary newspapers and wifi

Hmm, i can't say I love this place. Its so close to my house, but I never crave it unless i'm not feeling well because i do love their chicken noodle soup & their bread. The service is pretty good as well, but I didnt love the sandwich I had. I'm sure I'll try this place again, maybe a salad next, my place of choice for salad and sandwiches is Croutons. I wish that was in my area!

The sandwiches are good. Not much of a bagel selection. The salads are alright but tastes different each time I go. The service at this location is a hit and miss. Sometimes I'll get a someone who knows what they are doing and knows the menu well. Some days I'll get some idiot who can't even work the register. During lunch time this location needs to keep up with clearing tables and cleaning up the place.

SOUP...CHECK! SALAD.....CHECK! DRINK....CHECK! SOMEWHERE TO SIT......................???? Seriously guys...I love your food..but there seems to NEVER be enough places to sit! If your gonna insist on serving lunch to the masses...maybe you should make sure you can accommodate everyone!

The only time you can eat here is before 10am or after 3pm. They should add more outside tables by the fountain, they only have two, which is retarded the outside eating area can support close to 6 or 7. I too can't stand the loan freeloaders taking all the booths. Food is A+, but yes you do pay for it.
